** | Open to non-members. Teams may consist of two JHGA members OR one member & one guest (non- members must have a USGA handicap).
*** | Open to members who have paid their annual dues and played in a minimum of two JHGA tournaments. All tournaments on the JHGA schedule count toward this requirement. |
The deadline to sign-up for a JHGA tournament will typically be noon on the Thursday preceding the tournament. Please check the website for specific information on each tournament.
Default tees are determined by your GHIN handicap index:
Black tees: 5.4 and less | White tees: 13.5 thru 20.4 |
Blue tees: 5.5 thru 13.4 | Red tees: 20.5 and above |
Members will be responsible for knowing their default tee. The JHGA handicap committee reserves the right to adjust handicaps that are not aligned with a player’s ability.
In all JHGA tournaments, the ball will be played as it lies except in the fairway cut of the hole being played where the ball may be moved up to one club length no closer to the hole. The tournament committee may consider exceptions to this rule in certain circumstances (ex: extremely wet course conditions). |
